Looking for some OKC Thunder Fans for Game 5 against the Mavericks

As we move into game 5, we have to realize where we have ended up in the past 4 games against the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Playoffs. There is a lot riding in this game and a lot against us in it as well. As we ramp up for Game 5 in Dallas let’s all cheer and continue to show our Thunder Pride. We have lost 3 out of the 4 games, but we can still come through this and turn the tables by walking away with a Thunder win.

Coming out of a 112-105 loss in what has been termed as a complete meltdown by NBA (and even Thunder) fans everywhere. It is time to pick ourselves up and move forward. The worst play of the game was the second to last possession in regulation when the OKC Thunder were up 2 and had a real chance to win. It is unfortunate that Westbrook missed 2 free throws, they would have really made a difference in the game.

The only positive that really comes out of the game are the fans. We stand by our team, lets take that to Game 5 and bring home a win.

Devastating Thunder loss at home against the Mavs 112-105

We were all really hoping to see the Thunder bring a strong win at home in Oklahoma City against the Mavs. Unfortunately it looks like we had one of the worst losses instead. We came out hard early in the game and lead in every quarter, Dallas didn’t have the lead until overtime.

This game was a complete, sudden, meltdown on pretty much every level of the Thunder in overtime of Game 4. Rick Carlisle did say, about Thunder Fans, that: “We need our building to be as loud as this building. It’s as simple as that. This is a fantastic place to play a playoff game because of the level of enthusiasm, noise — I mean those were getting beat and they were going to lose and the place is yelling ‘O-K-C! O-K-C!’. The fans are beyond belief.” It seems like nearly everything about the conference finals is about how passionate Thunder fans are.

Let’s keep the season going in Game 5. Bring that Thunder team spirit! Go Thunder!

OKC Thunder’s Game 3 playoff loss 93-87

The Mavs came at us strong after we won game 2 and lead with 15 after the first quarter and by the end of the half they were leading by 23. We managed to close that gap in the last half, but weren’t able to bring in another win in Game 3.

It seems like the fans are the only ones that brought passion during Game 3, the Oklahoma City Thunder seemed to have lost a bit of their steam. Hopefully we come back with a strong game in Game 4 of the NBA Playoffs.

Also, what was that halftime show. Anyone else have any idea?

Let’s go thunder!

(also, the world hasn’t ended— so that’s good.)

Thunder wins Game 2 of the NBA Playoffs against the Mavs 106-100

We pulled off a win in Dallas for Game 2 with a 106-100. It was definitely a close and difficult game but we managed to pull through and take home a win. I think it was a good move to bench Russell Westbrook for the first 3 quarters based on how poorly he played during Game 1— it truly may have helped us to win the game, even though they put him in during the 4th quarter.

This is the first time the Mavs have lost at home all post season, let’s hope we can add some more to that. Go Thunder!

Oklahoma City Thunder lost Game 1 against the Dallas Mavericks 121-112

There isn’t much debate about how we lost Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs, it basically comes down to Dirk Nowitzki just dominating the court. As far as a fantastic game of basketball, Dirk topped it as he managed to get an incredible 48 points on 15 shots. The Mavs lead by at most 16 throughout the game, and played fantastically throughout. No, this isn’t a Mavericks blog but we definitely have some good sportsmanship over here.

The Mavs were definitely prepared while we may have been a little too confident, or perhaps, just perhaps a little underprepared as we went into Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs. Kevin Durant helped us mostly keep up with the Mavs while Russell Westbrook barely participated in the game. Hopefully we can get some real inner team spirit happening as we head towards Game 2.

We need to be a little less agressive as we do move into Game 2 and make sure we are setting up some solid offense to defend against Dirk. All isn’t lost yet, we still have a long way to go in the Playoffs. Let’s bring it together and show some Thunder team spirit!

Thunder takes first blow in the semifinals with the Grizzlies 114-101

With the hopes of homecourt advantage just outside of our grasps we took a blow in the first game of the western conference semifinals. The Grizzlies came prepared and led the game early in the first quarter. Throughout the game the Grizzlies led with a consistent 16 point lead over the Oklahoma City Thunder. The game ended 114-101 in the OKC thunderdome.

OKC Thunder Eliminated in the first round of playoffs in Game 6 95-94

In an upset to Oklahoma City Thunder Fans everywhere the Thunder lost in Game 6 of the playoffs against the LA Lakers. The entire game was quite close, definitely a game where the fans all sat constantly on the edges of their seats. Each quarter had the OKC Thunder and the LA Lakers nearly matching each other for points.

Kevin Durant must have the feeling of letting his team down with a game-high of 26 points but missed 18 of his 23 shots in a display that summed up this game. “No matter how bad I shot, I always came out there and played hard and tried to do other things to help my team win,” Durant said. “So I can live with myself knowing that I came out there and gave it my all every game no matter how (inefficient) I shot the ball. That’s all I can ask for. That’s all my teammates can ask for. Even though this loss hurts, we all gave it our all every game. That’s all we can do.”

If there is one thing to take note of this season about the Oklahoma City Thunder it is the fans. The stands were filled to the brim with blue shirts and waving banners, the screaming fans animated. I think the Thunder Basketball team now knows it has a 100,000 person family supporting them. We’ll all be there next season to push them even harder and hope to see another playoff season next year with the Thunder.

OKC Thunder at Game 6 tonight at 8:30pm, let’s bring home a WIN

The Oklahoma City Thunder will be playing the LA Lakers tonight at 8:30pm for a home game a the Ford Center. This is game 6 of 7 of the playoffs. Hopefully we can get Durant and Westbrook to bring their A-Game and let whichever Kobe Bryant personality comes out leave with a loss. This is a huge game for us and I think with the right amount of synergy and the right amount of confidence we can make it a win.

This is going to be a tough game against the LA Lakers, namely based on the last game played with the Laker’s Kobe Bryant. I think we can pull through with Scott Brooks’ leadership.

Be sure to stock up on Thunder apparel at our Thunder Store to show your support for our basketball team!

If you are looking for the OKC Thunder game tonight it will be on at 8:30pm CDT on ESPN (Cox channel 29).

Oklahoma City Thunder Rocking the playoffs

As the Oklahoma City Thunder progress through the playoffs the excitement in Oklahoma City is rising with banners throughout downtown Oklahoma City on billboards and bridges. Fans are incredible excited about how well we are doing, and managed to do by getting into the playoffs so early in our team’s history. I think there are some upset Seattle fans to see us doing so well, and with such excitement from Oklahoma Thunder Fans for the game and for our team.

We beat the lakers most recently 110-89 and play them again tonight. I’m sure we can manage to achieve the same great success in beating their basketball team easily. So, everyone give your shout out to the Thunder tonight to help bring home another win for the Oklahoma City Thunder!

OKC Thunder wins Game 4 against the LA Lakers

The Oklahoma City Thunder brought home a win against the LA Lakers in game 4 of the playoffs. With a score of 110 to 89 and the help of both Kevin Durant’s leadership and rising star Russel Westbrook amazing talent. The OKC Thunder brought the confidence and synergy to Game 4 that was needed in order to take down the LA Lakers basketball team.

With 3 games remaining in the playoffs against the LA Lakers, we’re hoping to see Westbrook step up and become an allstar player through the rest of the post-season. That is as long as the “Black Mamba” of Kobe Bryant doesn’t come out and show what he’s all about.
