Thunder takes first blow in the semifinals with the Grizzlies 114-101

With the hopes of homecourt advantage just outside of our grasps we took a blow in the first game of the western conference semifinals. The Grizzlies came prepared and led the game early in the first quarter. Throughout the game the Grizzlies led with a consistent 16 point lead over the Oklahoma City Thunder. The game ended 114-101 in the OKC thunderdome.

With hopes of starting off strong in the semifinals the Thunder lost that opportunity along with our homecourt but I think we can come back strong against them on May 3rd and give them a taste of their own medicine.

During the game the Thunder turned it over an unfortunate 18 times with the Grizzlies rebounding 17 of their 45 misses. We’ve got another opportunity to use our homecourt advantage against them on Tuesday, let’s see if we can show them our Thunder team spirit.
